BAGHDAD, Sept 28—The bodies of a murdered Sunni Iraqi police lieutenant and his wife were recovered in Baghdad's Adhamiyah neighborhood three days ago, a US army statement said on Friday. The couple had been abducted several days before by Sunni insurgents, the statement quoting a relative as saying, adding that the bodies were discovered dumped in a pile of trash beneath a pedestrian overpass in the Sunni-dominated neighborhood of Adhamiyah in Baghdad. Both victims appeared to have been killed by gunshot wounds to the head.
The police lieutenant also had drill holes in his face that indicated he was tortured before being executed, said 1st Lieutenant Daniel Lake with the 3rd Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment of the US unit responsible for security in the Adhamiyah area. Lake said the lieutenant and his wife; both Sunnis, were most likely targeted by Sunni terrorists associated with al-Qaeda in Iraq or Islamic Government of Iraq because of their involvement with security efforts.

THE MYSTERIOUS SHEIK BEHIND the Australian chapter of Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir has revealed the organization's support for military coups and revolutions to overthrow non-Muslim governments worldwide. Ismail Al Wahwah, who was little known until last month when he was banned from a Hizb ut-Tahrir conference in Indonesia, spoke out on an Arabic radio program that revealed him as the "active member" of the group in Australia....
"I say any occupied people have the responsibility to defend their country," he told SBS's Arabic radio program. "The victim should not be asked how he is defending himself."
Sheik Wahwah is understood to be the unofficial leader of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Australia. The Australian has obtained the first pictures of the man widely known in the Muslim community as Abu Anas. Hizb ut-Tahrir's media spokesman, Wassim Doureihi, denied the sheik was the group's leader in Australia, saying Sheik Wahwah was a senior member and that his brother, Ashraf, a civil engineer at North Sydney Council, was the official leader.
But Sheik Wahwah is sent to address senior members of the Islamic community in Sydney on behalf of Hizb ut-Tahrir, and he was Australia's representative for the Indonesian conference....
Hizb ut-Tahrir is a secretive organisation known as the Party of Islamic Liberation, which advocates the destruction of Western civilisation and the overthrow of governments and their replacement by Islamic rule. The group is banned in Europe, China and Saudi Arabia, but remains legal in Britain and Australia, actively pushing the idea of a Muslim rule....
"It is up to the Ummah (community) to sort out its own matter with these rulers and remove their ruler in a public manner," he said. "It could be such as a public revolution, public disobedience or a military coup. We are in the front line with the Ummah. We don't engage in militant activities. Our case is to make the case of Islam the case of the Ummah."

PARIS—A Russian boy suffers head injuries after falling from a window while trying to elude police. A North African man slips from a window ledge and fractures his leg while fleeing officers. A Chinese woman lies in a coma after plunging from a window during a police check. As France races to deport 25,000 illegal immigrants by the end of the year _ a quota set by President Nicolas Sarkozy _ tensions are mounting and the crackdown is taking a toll.
Critics say the hunt threatens values in a nation that prides itself on being a cradle of human rights and a land of asylum. Protesters have gathered by the dozens in Paris to protect illegal aliens as police move in. But with three months left in the year, police have caught at least 11,800 immigrants, less than half the target, so Sarkozy has ordered officials to pick up the pace.
"I want numbers," Sarkozy reportedly told Brice Hortefeux, head of the Ministry of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Co-Development, which Sarkozy set up after taking office in May. "This is a campaign commitment. The French expect (action) on this."
Revolutionary, romantic, heretic, theorist, vagabond, what was Guy Debord? Vincent Kaufmann’s new biography Guy Debord: Revolution in the Service of Poetry, translated by Robert Bonnono, demonstrates that such a question is inadequate. For Kaufmann, we must know who Debord was. Without recourse to pop psychology or gossip, Kaufmann discovers that the man who is often credited with foreseeing and inspiring the Paris student revolts of May 1968 was no flash in the pan, but rather a remarkably consistent man. His first graffiti, “travaillez jamais” (never work), written at the age of 20 in 1951, bears the stamp of radicalism, simplicity and precision, from which, for Kaufmann, Debord would never stray.
Where autobiography becomes a form of social criticism and where life becomes theory is where we find Debord. He wrote what he lived and lived what he wrote. And he indeed never worked. For Kaufmann, the consistency of Debord’s devotion to himself was a wholesale rejection of every aspect of the world as it appeared in its ruling representation, what Debord famously termed “the spectacle.”
Debord founded an avant-garde devoted to “creating situations,” the more revolutionary the better. The goal was to integrate life and art. The street was the place where this became possible. Kaufmann does well in describing their most prominent tactics. “Derive” – the art of systematic wandering – and “détournement” – the reappropriation of others’ words in different contexts – were intended to create situations where life could be experienced authentically, without mediation.
Kaufmann points out that these techniques were hardly original and in fact borrowed from previous avant-gardes, but for the Situationists this was of little matter. The tactics had been “detourned” and in the hands of the right practitioners they were revolutionary. In Debord’s hands, they were an art of living and a steadfast way to refuse being co-opted.
Unsurprisingly, the task was easily misunderstood. The Situationist International had to remain small. Even today some of Debord’s barbs hurled at more “mature” leftists crack off the page. On Sartre: “It’s not enough to reject the Nobel Prize, you have to not deserve it in the first place.”
But the book is not a laundry list of leftist squabbles or a recital of the Situationists’ mythologies, what the SI didn’t do, how small it remained and how suddenly it disappeared. There were no SI battalions in May ’68, but their invisible hand is evident in the slogans still remembered today: “Take your desires for realities;” “Demand the impossible.”
Naturally, talking about an invisible actor makes for some repetitive and overly rhetorical moments. Long passages in the middle of the book become proof of Debord’s insistence that “the more well received our ideas, the shadier we will become.” Kaufmann occasionally lapses into wistfulness and does not give context for the uninitiated. Overheated defenses of Debord against previous paper-tiger biographers also make an unwelcome appearance.
The Muslims Against Sharia site appears legitimate, and should it prove to be so, that is, a site erected, maintained, and supported by a growing number of inspired Muslim leaders, indeed would be uplifting news, an excellent supplement to that long-elusive manifestation of concerted actions required to force Islam to meet the West on a sound and logical footing, joining the company of a few other strong and courageous voices out there contradicting the usual "Religion of Peace" deception fed the infidels, such as Islamwatch, another site created by and for ex-Muslims.
While we can apprerciate both the perceived and the real threats of dangerous blowback, even the threat of death to [reformation-minded] apostates and blasphemers of the Muslim faith, those Muslims who speak out against these pernicious doctrines and problems facing Islam today, placing the responsibility of reform squarely upon Muslim shoulders, can only invigorate our call for more strong voices like these to step forward out of the shadows of Dar Al-Islam to help turn the tide of Islamic aggression operating with extreme prejudice in the world today.
The need for reform Islam, in its present form, is not compatible with principles of freedom and democracy. Twenty-first century Muslims have two options: we can continue the barbaric policies of the seventh century perpetuated by Hassan al-Banna, Abdullah Azzam, Yassir Arafat, Ruhollah Khomeini, Osama bin Laden, Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, Hizballah, Hamas, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, etc., leading to a global war between Dar al-Islam (Islamic World) and Dar al-Harb (non-Islamic World), or we can reform Islam to keep our rich cultural heritage and to cleanse our religion from the reviled relics of the past. We, as Muslims who desire to live in harmony with people of other religions, agnostics, and atheists choose the latter option. We can no longer allow Islamic extremists to use our religion as a weapon. We must protect future generations of Muslims from being brainwashed by the Islamic radicals. If we do not stop the spread of Islamic fundamentalism, our children will become homicidal zombies.
Accepting responsibilities To start the healing process, we must acknowledge evils done by Muslims in the name of Islam and accept responsibility for those evils. We must remove evil passages from Islamic religious texts, so that future generations of Muslims will not be confused by conflicting messages. Our religious message should be loud and clear: Islam is peace; Islam is love; Islam is light. War, murder, violence, divisiveness & discrimination are not Islamic values.
Religious privacy Religion is the private matter of every individual. Any person should be able to freely practice any religion as long as the practice does not interfere with the local laws, and no person must be forced to practice any religion. Just as people are created equal, there is no one religion that is superior to another. Any set of beliefs that is spread by force is fundamentally immoral; it is no longer a religion, but a political ideology.
Equality Islam is one of the many of the world's religions. There will be no Peace and Harmony in the World if Muslims and non-Muslims do not have equal rights. Islamic supremacy doctrine is just as repulsive as Aryan supremacy doctrine. History clearly shows what happens to the society whose members consider themselves above other peoples. All moderate Muslims must repudiate the mere notion of Islamic supremacy.
Sharia Sharia Law must be abolished, because it is incompatible with norms of modern society.
Outdated practices Any practices that might have been acceptable in the Seventh Century; i.e., stoning, cutting off body parts, marrying and/or having sex with children or animals, must be condemned by every Muslim.
Outdated verses The following verses promote divisiveness and religious hatred, bigotry and discrimination. They must be either removed from the Koran or declared outdated and invalid, and marked as such.
Outdated words & phrases Use of the following words and phrases or their variations must be prohibited during religious services: • Infidel/Unbeliever: these terms have negative connotation and promote divisiveness and animosity; Islam is not the only religion • Jihad: this word is often interpreted as Holy War against non-Muslims • Mujaheed/Holy Warrior: no more wars in the name of Islam • American (Christian/Crusader/Israeli/Zionist) occupation: these terms promote bigotry; at this point in time, Muslims living in non-Muslim lands have more freedoms than Muslims living in Muslim lands

American Citizens gather to protest latest ACLU outrage
Several Islamic groups in Southern California sued the FBI on Tuesday to force the agency to release more documents about the alleged surveillance of individuals and local mosques following the Sept. 11 attacks. In May 2006, 11 Muslim leaders and community groups sent the FBI a Freedom of Information Act request for documents about suspected surveillance of them and sued after the bureau released just four pages, one of them largely blank.
The ACLU, which filed the request and lawsuit, believes the FBI is withholding information. The civil rights group said in a statement that the FBI "squandered an opportunity" to build trust with the Muslim community by not releasing the information. The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana and alleges that the FBI's document search was inadequate. The suit says there is concern that FBI investigations "threaten to erode the constitutionally protected freedom of religion that Muslim Americans enjoy."
Tom Blanton, director of the National Security Archive at George Washington University in Washington, said that in the last five years the FBI had increasingly responded to FOIA requests by saying there were no records. "So, four pages is a gold mine," he said....
Last year, local Islamic leaders said they turned to the ACLU for help after the FBI provided little information in response to their concern about government monitoring. They said mosquegoers reported being questioned by the FBI about their religious practices and the sermons given during prayer services.
"We're baffled why this information is not being released. The onus is on them to show our community is not under surveillance," said Shakeel Syed, executive director of the Anaheim-based Islamic Shura Council of California. The council, identified in the suit as a federation of more than 60 mosques, and Syed are plaintiffs.
The four pages the FBI released pertain to Hussam Ayloush, executive director of the Southern California chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, and his group. Two pages recount a 2006 meeting between Ayloush and an FBI agent about improving relations between the FBI and Muslims. Another page had four lines about an offending e-mail the group had received.
"We hope that CAIR has not been under surveillance, because every thing it's engaged in fits within the 1st Amendment," Ayloush said. "We have views that aren't popular around certain circles of government, but they are legal."
Ayloush said he asked the FBI for information about himself because "I want to know why I get stopped at airports every time I return from an overseas trip." He said he hoped to learn that "I'm being stopped for a reason other than I'm Muslim." He and CAIR are also plaintiffs.
The ACLU is quite selective in its defense of the Bill of Rights. It takes a very expansive view of First Amendment freedoms, to the point that they become a suicide pact for the nation at large. But when it comes to the Second Amendment, well, here the ACLU takes an extremely narrow view of what rights this amendment guarantees to American citizens.
Ditto for rights Christians have in comparison to those Muslims are entitled to. Want to have public school third graders dress up as seventh-century Mohammedans and recreate the first years of expansionist Islam? Hey, that's just history. But should those same third graders dress up as first-century Christians traveling throughout the ancient Mediterranean world and avoiding Roman authorities, then we have a major violation of the separation of church and state.
The ACLU is an imposter, a monsterous hypocrite and should always be regarded as such. It is inimical to the survival of America as we know it and so it comes as no surprise that the ACLU is an ally of CAIR, whose ultimate purpose is to have Islam dominant in this nation, although it does defy fifty years of institutional logic.
But isn't this fellow a liberal? Albeit posing as a conservative for laughs and a fat paycheck? Oh, I get it now. Colbert is ACTUALLY, YES ACTUALLY poking fun at Islam (and the conservatives who fear them), even though he is a liberal, which proves how utterly insightful and brave a liberal he truly is. Give him credit. He got it right, even if he thinks it's all a joke. And yes, while I do like to watch his show, what does that make me? A label licker! Ha!

Glenn Beck closes the first segment of "EXPOSED: The Perfect Day" with the following statement:
"As a personal note, this series has put me in the hardest ethical position I think I've been in, in thirty years of broadcasting. In the end, I came down that the information we have is power. There are things that you need to know that you're not being told. We're not the NYT. We're trying to save lives, not expose anything our government does not want exposed."
But earlier in the program when Glenn Beck asked his guest Brad Thor why they would do these unspeakable things (re: Beslan style attack in US) Thor responds:
"They want to force our hand. They want to create something so horrible that we will lose control of our reaction. We will be lynching muslim people in the streets and burning mosques. They want to reduce us to animals like them so that they can get the islamic world behind them and finally get them the holy war that they want kicked off and ignited."
Earlier this week, officials in Dearborn, MI, deliberately withheld information about Hussein Zorkot, who had been arrested with a loaded AK-47, wearing all black and camouflage paint on his face—because they were afraid of “stirring anti-Muslim sentiments” and “fanning the flames of terrorism.” The FBI is notorious for issuing "not related to terror" statements upon arrival at the scene of latest qu'ran inspired atrocity prior to even a hint of an investigation. Obviously, these disconnects are part of an official concerted but fraying effort to avoid the ultimate confrontation—which cannot be held off indefinitely.
How many of our citizens are considered disposable? Apparently, four airplanes and three buildings on 9/11 didn't prove enough.
Islam, not a race but a totalitarian system of political oppression
Don't fret or gasp at the photograph above. Yes, some people when given a free choice of liberty prove themselves to be casually confused, have the wind kicked out of them, and are looking to fall in love with the strange just for kicks and a nod to their own petty grievances. The West needs to examine closely the beliefs and practices dictated by Islam and then update its definition of what Islam is. Islam is not a race in the genetic sense, but a belief system. Any fool or child can be indoctrinated—regardless of the color of their eyes. Islam isn’t a religion in the classic Western definition either. It is a fascist, totalitarian, supremacist belief system with material and political goals here on this planet and is focused on subjugating the rest of the world by violent force if necessary.
Other cultures may define Islam as a religion, but it is unlike any of the others in its focus on dominating the world. It recognizes no other authority than itself and Islam as it stands today is incompatible with liberal, representative democracies as a political system. Islam is the antithesis of Western governance and spirituality. Islam is properly translated ‘Submission’, not as “Peace”. Salaam stands for peace. Islam stands for ‘Submission’ - literally: submission to the will of Allah as commanded in the Qur’an, in the words and deeds of the prophet and through sharia or Islamic law, which is derived from the Qur’an and the Sunnah (the example of the prophet).

Today the Western nations are strong but blind—like Samson in the old Testament. Tolerance of everything leads to blindness. Belief systems which threaten the very foundation of a society and which are willing to work towards the overthrow of their host societies need to be seen for the threat that they pose and dealt with accordingly.
The world is divided into an absolute dichotomy for the True Muslim Believer: black & white: the believer and the infidel, the dar al-islam (the house of Islam where Islamic law rules) and the dar al-harb( the house of War—the lands and peoples which Islam must either convert, subjugate or kill). Dar al-Islam is the bubble universe of Mohammed, who was one of the most successful charismatic sociopaths and a predecessor to Hitler, Charles Manson, Jim Jones and others. Mohammed created the Islamic belief system, which rests on a set of five official ‘pillars’ and a sixth un-official but equally important pillar, jihad or ‘holy struggle in the cause of Allah’.
Unbelievers in the dar al-harb need a Project Samson. In the old bible story Samson destroyed the main Philistine temple and the leaders of his enemies by pulling down the pillars which supported everything. Unbelievers in the present need to use their strength to pull down the pillars of Islam so that the whole house of cards, the Dar al Islam, will be reduced to rubble.

The attitude that "I know this one guy" or "I met a really reliable Iraqi officer in Mosul" or, well, fill in the blank. There is the Gunga-Din problem, the sentimentalism of those who focus on the one or two, or even a dozen, genuinely trustworthy and loyal Iraqis they met in person, and do not focus on the millions who don't quite fit the same bill.
It is Islam that mandates a state of permanent war—though not always open warfare when Muslmis are too weak or can obtain the same goals more effectively through other instruments—between Believers and Infidels. In such a war, as in all wars, one does not make policy based on the exceptions, rather than the rule. One did not soften the blows against Nazi Germany because there was the White Rose resistance of the Scholls, or because there was here and there an Oskar Schindler. One did not change policy toward the Soviet Union because within that Soviet Union there were such people as Andrey Sakharov and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, because the Soviet state, the Red Army, the Communist Party, was the culprit that required modification.

Dozens of former Saddam Hussein loyalists captured by US-led coalition forces in Iraq were found to be working with al-Qaida or linked to their operations.
Muhammed Hila Hammad Ubaydi, aka Abu Ayman, was the former aide to the chief of staff of intelligence during the Saddam regime for 30 years. Ubaydi later led the Secret Islamic Army in the Northern Babil Province and was said to have had strong ties to the former terror leader Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi. He was captured April 6, 2006, in southern Baghdad.
Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri is "the former vice chairman of Saddam's Baathist Revolutionary Command Council who swore fealty to Zarqawi and provided funding for al-Qaida and significant element of the Baathist/al-Qaida converts and collaborators.
Abdel Faith Isa is a former Iraqi army officer who was later identified as an al-Qaida emir. He was captured May 6, 2004.

Inasmuch as Gen. Wesley Clark is concerned, I would hesitate to use such rhetoric as 'war criminal' or 'he should hang' as others on this thread have done. He was following the lead of the POTUS and the Secretary of State. Does that relieve him of all responsibility? No. As theater commander, he should be looking beyond politics and propaganda, beyond the smoke and mirrors, to see the actual situation in theater and shift his operations and advise his superiors accordingly.
I hate to say this, but the actions of the US military in Yugoslavia, because that is what the country was called before we helped destroy it, were contrary to the accepted norms of interaction between sovereign nations. In other words, we committed acts of war against a nation for dubious or criminal reasons. I think we should blame those higher in the chain of command than Gen. Clark.
Unfortunately, many strong forces prevent Muslim cooperation in working with Western authorities. With thanks to Traeh Lewis in no particular order:

These six categories of influence, in varying proportions for varying Muslims, are informing the hearts and minds of the vast majority of Muslims from cooperating with Western authorities. Note that in the UK, polls have shown that some 50% of the Muslim population fits into category #5.
Oh, the gall to even attempt to address this issue without reaching down into my pockets for a handful of jizyah, like our governments continue to do with millions of foreign aid to these hapless cultures, and let’s not forget that just posting this makes me a xenophobic, intolerant, racist bastard. Spain will host OSCE conference on Muslim discrimination.
A juicy headline. Wonderful news. Finally, a serious breakthrough, a fierce blow against the anemic dhimmitude of Europe's socialist leadership. Wait a minute! Oops, reality reveals another wishful misreading of the text. At first glance, the headline seemed to suggest that indeed a miracle had occurred, that some fact-finding authority was finally set to investigate why Muslims seemed to discriminate against everyone under the sun, including those of opposition sects within their own ranks. And Spain was leading the way. Wrong!
Instead, on October 9-10 a conference will be held in the Spanish city of Cordoba under the aegis of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation (OSCE) in Europe to ponder why indigenous peoples are resisting the aggressive Islamization and set asides for the Islamization of their towns, cities, and nations.
"The meeting will investigate the "roots of intolerance towards Muslims..."
"Will the continuing violence committed by Muslims in the name of Islam be on the agenda as one of the contributing factors, and possibly the most important contributing factor, of this intolerance? Will the imperialistic boasts by Muslim leaders about the impending Islamic conquest of Europe be on the agenda?"
Like Spencer, I doubt that either one will be discussed. But why not?
In many articles written by Islamic clerics, the clerics herald the imminent conquest of Rome by Islam, in accordance with the prophecy of Muhammad. The issue is also discussed in Friday sermons. Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi, one of the most influential clerics in Sunni Islam, often makes this claim in his religious rulings and on his television programs. The following are remarks made by Al-Qaradhawi and other Muslim clerics:
Al-Qaradhawi: "Islam will Return to Europe as a Conqueror" In a fatwa posted on thewebsite in response to a reader's question, Sheikh Al-Qaradhawi wrote of the "signs of the victory of Islam," citing a well-known Hadith: "… The Prophet Muhammad was asked: 'What city will be conquered first, Constantinople or Romiyya?' He answered: 'The city of Hirqil [i.e. the Byzantine emperor Heraclius] will be conquered first'—that is, Constantinople… Romiyya is the city called today 'Rome,' the capital of Italy. The city of Hirqil [that is, Constantinople] was conquered by the young 23-year-old Ottoman Muhammad bin Morad, known in history as Muhammad the Conqueror, in 1453. The other city, Romiyya, remains, and we hope and believe [that it too will be conquered]."
"This means that Islam will return to Europe as a conqueror and victor, after being expelled from it twice - once from the South, from Andalusia, and a second time from the East, when it knocked several times on the door of Athens."
Sheikh Al-Qaradhawi qualified his statement: "I maintain that the conquest this time will not be by the sword but by preaching and ideology…"
Al-Qaradhawi made similar statements on other occasions, on his weekly religious program on Al-Jazeera. He declared: "This means that the friends of the Prophet heard that two cities would be conquered by Islam, Romiyya and Constantinople, and the Prophet said that 'Hirqil [i.e. Constantinople] would be conquered first.' Romiyya is Rome, the capital of Italy, and Constantinople was the capital of the state of Byzantine Rome, which today is Istanbul. He said that Hirqil which is Constantinople, would be conquered first and this is what happened…"
"All right, Constantinople was conquered, and the second part of the prophecy remains, that is, the conquest of Romiyya. This means that Islam will return to Europe. Islam entered Europe twice and left it… Perhaps the next conquest, Allah willing, will be by means of preaching and ideology. The conquest need not necessarily be by the sword… [The conquest of Mecca] was not by the sword or by war, but by a [Hudabiyya] treaty, and by peace… Perhaps we will conquer these lands without armies. We want an army of preachers and teachers who will present Islam in all languages and in all dialects…"
Another time, Sheikh Al-Qaradhawi said, "The Hadith says that the city of Constantinople, the city of Heracles, will be conquered first. We conquered Constantinople and the second part of the prophecy remains—the conquest of Romiyya. The conquest of Romiyya means that Islam will return to Europe. In one of my previous programs, I said that I think that this conquest would not be by the sword or armies, but by preaching and ideology. Europe will see that it suffers from materialistic culture, and will seek an alternative, it will seek a way out, it will seek a lifeboat. It will find no lifesaver but the message of Islam the message of the muezzin who gives it religion but does not deny it this world, brings it to Heaven, but does not uproot it from Earth. Allah willing, Islam will return to Europe and the Europeans will convert to Islam. Then they themselves will be able to be the ones to disseminate Islam in the world, more than we ancient Muslims. This is within Allah's capabilities."
Saudi Sheikh: "We Will Control the Land of the Vatican" The Saudi Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd Al-Rahman Al-'Arifi, imam of the mosque of King Fahd Defense Academy,[5] discussed this Hadith in an article posted on the Kalemat website. Under the headline "Don't be sad, Allah is with us," the article read: "… We will control the land of the Vatican; we will control Rome and introduce Islam in it. Yes, the Christians, who carve crosses on the breasts of the Muslims in Kosovo - and before then in Bosnia, and before then in many places in the world - will yet pay us the Jiziya [poll tax paid by non-Muslims under Muslim rule], in humiliation, or they will convert to Islam…"
In a sermon at the Al-Nour Mosque in Khobar, Sheikh Naser Muhammad Al-Naser quoted the sage Al-Albani, who said: "The first conquest was carried out, as is known, by Muhammad the Ottoman conqueror, 800 years after the Prophet told of it, and the second conquest [that of Rome] will be carried out, Allah willing, and it is inevitable…"
In another sermon, Sheikh Al-Naser said: "This Hadith predicts that the two cities will be conquered. The first was already conquered, remained under the control of the Muslims for a time, and then was again stolen [by Ataturk]. There are signs that it will again be conquered and will return to the hands of the Islamic state. Rome also will be conquered…"
PA Deputy Minister: When Islam Reaches Its End, the Sun and Stars will Extinguish
In a sermon at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian Authority's Deputy Minister of Awqaf, Sheikh Yousef Juma'a Salameh said: "Romiyya is Rome, the capital of Italy, and Constantinople is today Istanbul, known in Islamic history by the name of Islam-Boul… The great conquest [of Constantinople] was carried out two centuries after the Tatars entered Baghdad and after the fall of the Caliphate. The people thought that Islam had reached its lowest point… and forgot that Islam had not reached its end in the world, because on the day it reaches its end, there will be no world: the sun will be extinguished, the stars will go out…"
Sudanese Sheikh: "Rome Will be Conquered" In a sermon at a mosque in Khartoum, Sudan, Sheikh Muhammad Abd Al-Karim said: "…The Prophet said that the Muslims would take India, saying: 'Allah saved two groups of my nation from the fire of Hell: one group that would attack India and a second group that would be with Jesus the son of Mary [in the battle of Judgment Day].' The Prophet Muhammad told us of the conquest of Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine state, and of the conquest of Rome, where the Vatican is situated… Some of what the Prophet said has already come to pass. The Muslims conquered Persia, the Muslims conquered Byzantium… the Muslims attacked India and Allah conquered it for us, until they reached the borders of China. The Muslims conquered Constantinople, where Eastern Christianity is situated, and in the future, a mighty king will arise for the Muslims; through him, Islam will spread and Rome will be conquered…"
I realize most of America is too busy watching Paris, Britney, Rosie, or rushing off to golf, tennis, or car racing events in a frenzy of constitutionally bestowed pursuit of happiness to even notice what the mainstream media is not telling us about the Islamic forces around the world today, while puffing up the smokescreen with a few radicals hijacking the religion of peace, but let's get pell back the onion here.
Nothing any priest has done in secret against the wishes of religion and civilization compares with what the Ayatollah Khomeini (following Mohammed's lead, of course) confirmed as acceptable practice for everyday Muslims, not just the mullahs or muftis with long gray beards. Read this from one of the Grand Ayatollah's books written after the Iranian Revolution in 1979:
"A man can have sex with animals such as sheep, cows, camels and so on. However he should kill the animal after he has his orgasm. He should not sell the meat to the people in his own village, however selling the meat to the next door village should be fine."
Don't stop there. He also penned the words in his Little Green Book:
"A man can marry a girl younger than nine years of age, even if the girl is still a baby being breastfed. A man, however is prohibited from having intercourse with a girl younger than nine, other sexual acts such as foreplay, rubbing, kissing and sodomy is allowed. A man having intercourse with a girl younger than nine years of age has not committed a crime, but only an infraction, if the girl is not permanently damaged. If the girl, however, is permanently damaged, the man must provide for her all her life. But this girl will not count as one of the man's four permanent wives. He also is not permitted to marry the girl's sister."
It only gets worse: This Muslim cleric goes on to suggest that if this man does force his penis into her tiny vagina he is obligated to pay for any surgical repairs that may be required. If those repairs are deemed insufficient you may work out a financial settlement to compensate you for his trivial infraction. No big deal. Muslim boys will be Muslim boys. And, after all, she is only a girl. Yes, this is all part of the sharia law these crackpots so stealthly wish to install across the West.
Another technique used by Muslim men is called "thighing". The child's legs are pressed together and the abuser inserts his penis between the thighs of the little boy or girl. As this was how Mohammed had sex with his wife, Aisha, from the time she was six years old the practice, of course, was approved of by Ayatollah Khomeini who in his Little Green Book asserted “It is not illegal for an adult male to 'thigh' or enjoy a young girl who is still in the age of weaning; meaning to place his penis between her thighs, and to kiss her.”
This is not inneuendo. Sources all over the web can be found. Muslims do not deny these rules for daily life. They excuse them by pointing out how stable their marriages are as a result of these "holy" admonitions.
But one particular Arab woman vigorously denounces this vile practice in the following video clip from Bahrain TV. Her denunciation of the "thighing" of infants and young girls comes towards the end of the interview. The subtitles are both in a strange English and a language I presume to be classic or contemporary Arabic, while the actual speech of both participants more probably is of some local dialect.

This practice flourishes in Muslim countries where women are ruthlessly oppressed and normal sexual development systematically suppressed. That would include the Arab world, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Deny men wholesome and natural sexual outlets and they will find unwholesome and unnatural alternatives.

Twenty-three year-old Ilan Halimi worked at a cellular phone store in the boulevard Voltaire in Paris. Young and Jewish, he was approached in January, 2006 in the store by a young girl of Iranian origin aged 17, who called herself Yalda. They flirted with each other, swapped phone numbers, and arranged a rendezvous for January 21. Ilan turned up for the date, but in addition to meeting the seductive young woman who had chatted with him earlier, he was met by three members of a gang that called itself "The Barbarians". The gang members were mostly Muslim, and their leader was a 26-year old, originally from the Cote d'Ivoire, called Youssouf Fofana.
The gang took Ilan to the Pierre-Plate housing project in Bagneux in the suburban district of Hauts-de-Seine. The gang had rented an apartment in one of the blocks, but Ilan was destined to be imprisoned in a pump room in the basement. He screamed for two minutes as the hooded thugs carried him off. The gang had a close relationship with the janitor at the housing block. Up to 30 people in the building would eventually know what was going on beneath them, but no-one bothered to call the police.
For Yalda, her part in the plan was over. She had been paid $6,000 to seek out a victim, and on the night of the kidnap, she and her boyfriend whooped it up in a hotel room paid for by the gang. Fofana had been impressed by Yalda's good looks, and had told her: "With you I can do wonders. With your physique you'll make a fortune." A worker in a store adjoining Ilan's workplace had noticed a young brunette (Yalda) acting strangely three days before the kidnapping. He said: "One of our seasoned salesman picked up immediately that she hadn't come to buy, but to 'fish'." She had passed through five shops before homing in on Ilan.
For Ilan Halimi, his abduction was the start of three weeks of torture. Tied up naked, with his face covered, he was subjected to a catalogue of abuse. Cigarettes were burned into his skin, and cuts were made on his face. While Ilan was held hostage, his family received ransom demands. Initially, the kidnappers demanded that the Halimi family provide 400,000 Euros ($475,000). Ilan's mother Ruth told them that they did not have access to such a sum. The family was told to get money from a synagogue. Ilan's family also had to listen to quotes from the Koran, given by those responsible for torturing their son. Speaking on stolen cellular phones, the kidnappers dropped the ransom to 5,000 Euros ($5,900), but in the first week of February, the calls stopped.

Within the French Jewish communities, there are arguments over the necessity of "aliyah" or return to Israel, though there is more consensus on the issue of what is driving Jews out of France. In 2005, Roger Cukierman, president of CRIF, said that the dangers were over-emphasized, conceding that "France is not an anti-Semitic country, though violence from North African Muslims is on the increase."

For Ilan Halimi, whose life was tormented and cut short by Muslim anti-Semitism, the Jewish Agency for Israel arranged that after his death, he too should make aliyah. Since 2004, even Jewish cemeteries have not been safe from anti-Semitic attack. Ilan's family had agreed that they would "tie their fate with the State of Israel". On February 11, 2007, almost a year since his death, Ilan's body was re-interred far from the scene of his torture, laid to rest in a cemetery in Jerusalem.

So the mayor of Brussels, Freddie Thielemans, refused to issue a permit for a September 11 march on the EU headquarters to protest the continuing Islamization of Europe on the grounds that he could not guarantee the marchers' safety. Only NOW do we know what those simple, hardly difficult to parse, words really meant. Not safety from crazed Muslim youths attacking with sword and swagger shouting Allah Akbar with every step!
No, it turns out he was not talking about the immigrant population, but what he meant was he could not guarantee these mostly indigenous Europeans any safety from the fully loaded stormtroopers he called out against the mere handful of 200 peaceful, middle-aged marchers. The mayor had banned the protest, held on the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the US.
Police arrested two far-right political leaders at a protest against the "Islamisation of Europe". Frank Vanhecke and Filip Dewinter of the Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest) party. Vlaams Belang has recently been critical of Muslim immigration to Belgium. Police clashed with some of the 200 demonstrators and dozens more people were reported to have been arrested.
The protest organisers had promised a large turn-out, but the approximately 200 protesters were nearly outnumbered by police and reporters.
All in all, the police and the government in Brussels acted criminally, since they refuse to carry out their basic role of protecting the rule of law and protecting the polity. That they would attack law abiding citizens gathered in a peaceful demonstration to protest a foreign threat indicates that Brussel's secret plan is Islamization. What were these enforcers paid? And by whom?
As if all the recent spate of unfalsified news now trickling out of Kosovo-Serbia about who the "true" victions of that conflict are (hint: it wasn't the American-backed Muslims of Kosovo) isn't shocking enough, let's reach deeper into this vat of deception and deceit that is rendered to us as an awkward alliance between the western Left and historical Islam.
Future historians studying the decline and fall of the American Empire will probably focus on George W. Bush's disastrous Iraqi adventure—the modern-day equivalent of Alcibiades' Sicilian expedition—to explain the pathology of a global hyper-power. However, while Iraq has been, beyond any doubt, a significant factor in depleting Imperial power, it is arguably not the conflict that destroyed the Empire's authority. Since it is the authority that marks the difference between the State and a gang of street thugs (i.e. the perception of legitimacy in the use of force by the populace against which it is being used), its loss is much harder for an Empire to recover from.
Before there was Iraq, there was Kosovo—another "war of choice," another war of aggression against all international law, national constitutions and alliance charters, waged to show the world that the United States and its NATO military arm asserted the right to attack anyone, anywhere, for whatever reason. It was packaged and sold as a "humanitarian" war, waged to "prevent genocide" and "stop ethnic cleansing." There was nothing humanitarian about targeting civilian infrastructure. There was no genocide. And the ethnic cleansing that ended up taking place was the expulsion of Serbs, Jews and Roma from the "liberated" province—much as the Jews, Christians, and others who ended up in the "wrong" areas became refugees from "liberated" Iraq.
For those who believe what the Muslims believe themselves, that the Qur'an has never changed and Muslims obey the commandements of Allah and the practices of Muhammed the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, here's a little wake-up call for what's coming down the pike when these masters of deception (religion of peace, et cetera) finally reach their magical (Qur'an dictated) number or critical mass where they feel all-out war on the infidels is mandated by their God.

The Skull Tower (Serbian: Ćele Kula) is a monument to 19th century Serbian rebels. It is situated in Niš, on Zoran Đinđić Boulevard, on the old Constantinople road leading to Sofia.
On May 31, 1809 on Čegar Hill a few kilometers northeast of Niš, Serbian insurrectionists suffered their greatest defeat in the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire (1804-1813). The insurrectionists' advance towards Niš was stopped here and, when the far stronger Turkish forces attacked, the battle was ended by the Serbian commander Stevan Sinđelić, who sacrificially fired at his gunpowder depot in order to avoid surrendering to the Turks, killing himself, the rest of his men, and the advancing Turks.
After the retreat of the Serbian rebel army, the Turkish commander of Niš, Hurshid Pasha, ordered that the heads of the killed Serbians were to be mounted on a tower to serve as a warning to any other would-be revolutionaries. In all, 952 skulls were included, with the skull of Sindjelić placed at the top. The scalps from the skulls were stuffed with cotton and sent to Constantinople (modern Istanbul) as proof for Sultan Mahmud II.
The tower stood in the open air until the liberation of Niš in 1878. By that time, much of the tower had deteriorated from weather conditions or from the removal of skulls for burial by relatives of killed rebels. In 1892, with donations gathered from all over Serbia, a graceful chapel designed by the Belgrade architect Dimitrije T. Leko was built to enclose what was left of the tower. Today, only 58 skulls remain, including Sindjelić's one.
In front of the chapel stands the monument to Sinđelić, and a small relief depicting the battle, both from 1937. The monument commemorating the battle in the form of a guard tower was built in 1927 on Čegar Hill by Julian Djupon. The lower part is made out of stone from the Niš fortress.
If this warning gto all and sunder be fearmongering, so be it. Contemporary culture only seems to want to complain about who knew what and when AFTER the fact, while sunning themselves and gorging on fluff, self-satisfied and petulent in the lead up to the very worst fears of their lives. But the signs are everywhere that something really bad in terms of war and mayhem is on its way. Now that we've all had a taste of rainy day women, don't say you weren't warned.
Remember, it's not the pious moderate Muslim you need to be concerned about. It's the pious moderate Muslim who changes his approach in a twinkling of a cobra's eye that should concern you.

Of course, if one has a preconceived notion that Muslims are not the offending party, but the oppressed people in question in each of these war zones (what about Muslim on Muslim raids), and will not let go of that notion no matter how many persuading facts and relevant perspectives are delivered, well, there's some old line about a horse and water I must avail myself.

Language stands in our way here. Although this article hits much closer to the mark, there is still an impediment to identifying the true nature of the enemy in that it is slighly misidentified. The word "terrorist" is very abused these days, and one envisions here a group that willy-nilly tosses money and resources, or agitates in favour of, groups that bomb teenagers in coffee shops and commuters on trains or fly planes into buildings.
It is this stereotype that will lead such articles to ridicule. For, although the Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) has in the past been directly involved in such activity and now is more covertly involved in supporting groups like Hamas, they can legitimately claim not to support or validate attacks in the West (or, at least they can argue that this is an unfair characterization of their work and goals).
It is important that we describe clearly and precisely what these folks are up to. They would be quite happy, if possible, to set up a Caliphate in the U.S. and eliminate the constitution, without shedding a drop of blood. To simply characterize them as "terrorist" or "pro-terrorist" is facile and at best only close to the mark.
The Ikhwan are radical, vehement islamists bend on world domination. That this puts them in bed with some terrorist groups is true, but they are careful about with whom they associate. You can pin them down on Hamas, but they will argue that this is a legitimate government group or "freedom fighters".
But you will not successfully associate them with ... say, Al Qaeda. Read the Ikhwan literature: they are quite clear that, although they share many common objectives with Osama's army, they condemn them outright as unislamic and an illegal breakaway group. If pushed the right way they may even say that Osama is Takfir.
They have no qualms about condemning jihadist groups, and their actions, if they are not affiliated with those groups. So, to come out guns-blazing and saying the Ikhwan is out and out terrorist, or even pro-terrorist, is to play into their hands. They can, and will try to, bring ridicule to such claims. Watch how they handle these proceedings, particularly when it comes to anyone who oversimplifies by calling them terrorists instead of focussing on their agenda and subversive activities.

Truth or deception? I guess we can know for sure, if and only if the death threats and fatwahs pile high against him. But then, given the suicidal martyr complex of these radicals, how can one ever be sure that this is not simply the next phase of lulling the enemy infidel back to sleep? DEARBORN - Houssein Zorkot, a 26-year-old Dearborn resident, was arraigned Tuesday in 19th District Court on multiple felony charges, including carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent&@151;a five-year felony. Zorkot, a third-year medical student at Wayne State University, was allegedly armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and dressed in black clothing with camouflage paint covering his face when he was arrested Saturday in Hemlock Park.
According to police, Zorkot was observed attempting to leave the park in a black SUV after officers had received reports of a man carrying a rifle in the area. He was placed under arrest and is scheduled to undergo a preliminary examination at 9 a.m. September 21, in 19th District Court.
Zorkot has also been charged with one count of possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle and one count of felony firearm. He remains in custody on a $1 million bond (cash, no 10 percent).
The cover-up...
Why would anybody dress in black with camouflage face paint unless they were about to commit an atrocity. It's just awful to witness the gradual deterioration of respect for life brought on by importing cultures which pay no homage to it. Is that a mug shot or a photo from his student ID? Either way, Muslims always seem to have the same vacant stare—as if hypnotized by hate.
That's just wonderful. I just watched the video and found a couple other notable details. Firstly, this alledged incident happened on Saturday this past week. Also, a press release indicated the mayor was to be the contact point for information regarding the incident.
Now why would the public be kept in the dark for almost 5 whole days?? Why would the mayor be the contact point and not the police regarding this case?? Answer: They didn't want to raise public anxiety right before the September 11 anniversary, also desiring the mayor to spin this incident to distance any Jihadi connections to this ordeal. PC sensibilities are getting in the way of full disclosure and authenticity of major news events concerning Muslims, creating a disturbing pattern: crime by any Muslim is downplayed or covered sympathetically by the media. It's no longer possible to conclude anything but systematic bias.
A concerned citizen suggests in playing off of "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" (mainstreamers suddenly gone mad), that we should call this "Impatient Jihad" syndrome. Bored with the rigors of occupying a cell position as a physician or medical student, they yearn for "hot Jihad". But lacking the practical training that their more disposable brethren got, they do stupid things like make a bomb out of gasoline and catch themselves on fire at an airport or paint themselves up like snipers and get tazored by Barney Fife.

Ponder this. Even Napolean Bonaparte questioned the ability to tame a Muslim by occupation. Someone might mention that Arab Muslims believe they are "Allah's vice-regents" on earth. But you can expect the usual. Everyone will say he's quiet, peaceful, and a devout Muslim. Or he's criminally insane despite no previous diagnosis. Perhaps, he was feeling oppressed. Don't forget poverty, racism and lack of opportunity.

Spend some time perusing his website. Look at his family photos. You might denote a change in the whole outlook of the family. Ali Zorkot is his father and seems to be a fairly successful engineer. The older photos of his mother, father and family from the late 1960s-70s reveal Lebanese folk with a markedly western appeal. His father is almost a hipster. His mother, a quite attractive woman, wore no hijab. In 2005, his trip to Lebanon shows his mother without hijab. A lot of the women wear no hijab, but some do.
Then observe his photos from Lebanon trip in 2006. All the women in the photographs are in hijab. And there are all the references to jihad, martial themes, Hizbollah.
What's with the crazy fixation with macho lions and tigers? Something is stirring these people up. This young would-be doctor was not brought up all that religious. His parents were Lebanese hippies. Where's dad in the later photos? No pics with dad in Lebanon 2007. But look at mom in 2007. She now has donned the hijab.
I believe that the Imams, Mullahs and leaders in the mosques are radicalizing these marginally religious Muslims. In this case it's Nasrallah.
This Shi'ite Muslim definitely gone off the deep end in tune with contemporary Islamic direction. He writes, "I'm a lion, a tiger, jihadist." Who's baby is he holding? His? No photos of a wife. That would be haraam, shameful, impure.
This would-be doctor's website is indictment enough. It has two perspectives. If you go back to the straight URL, the left takes you to the radical Nasrallah/Hizbollah side, and the other leads you to his personal page.
These people delude themselves, and insist we share in their delusions. What damned struggle do these people continually speak of? This particular family life in Lebanon looks tranquil in a peaceful countryside. The sons have all emigrated around the world and seem relatively prosperous. But the false status of instant victomhood for the malcontents remains unchanged. As problemsolvers the West must defeat and eradicate these blood cult leaders like Nasrallah. These mulahs preach war and peace simultaneously, to different audiences. Their prized creation is death and destruction.
A well educated Muslim with a likely intent to kill unbelievers? But we've been told by so many in the know that poverty and a lack of education are the real reasons why Muslims hate. How long is it going to take for our leadership and the general populations now mesmerized by political mumbo jumbo to figure out that the real reason Muslims hate is because their religion just oozes hatred and contempt for all those who don't comport with it? I don't detest ALL Muslims, but I certainly detest their sinister faith, which is deeply flawed and pathetic.

It is very important to remember that the freedom of assembly and expression can be restricted to protect the rights and freedoms of others, including the freedom of thought, conscience and religion. This applies to everyone in Europe including the millions of Europeans of Islamic faith, who were the main target of today’s shameful display of bigotry and intolerance."
Does this stuffed shirt ever leave his office to observe the intolerant slander and murderous assaults on civilization posited by "moderate" Muslims on their own signage when THEY are on parade? Obviously not. The one-sidedness of PC oblivion is never so apparent as when these folk speak of "millions of Europeans of Islamic faith" of whom they reel back in fear and terror. I say, follow the purse-strings. Saudi money has softened the blow of capitulation for these wimps and liars willing to sell out his own civilization to a people who are quite vocal in despising it.
Well, as Robert Spencer of Dhimmi Watch puts it, this is "moral equivalence of the first water." Ever notice that these so-called "Islamophobes" are not flying planes into buildings? Neither are not predicting their conquest of Europe. Nor are not physically attacking people who do not conform to their code of conduct in the great numbers we see under-reported every day in European and Asian media sources.

Suspected pro-Taleban militants have tried to blow up an ancient carving of Buddha in north-west Pakistan. The giant statue, thought to date from the second century BC, sustained only minimal damage in the attack near Manglore in remote Swat district. The area, however, has seen a rise in attacks on "un-Islamic" targets in recent months. This is the first such attack in Pakistan and is reminiscent of the Taleban's 2001 destruction of the giant Buddhas at Bamiyan in Afghanistan. Dynamite speaks volumes. Officials and witnesses in Swat said armed men arrived in the area on Monday night.
"Militants drilled holes in the rock and filled them with dynamite and blew it up," provincial archaeology department official Aqleem Khan told Reuters news agency, adding, "The explosion damaged the upper part of the rock but there was no damage to the image itself."

Iran must pay $2.65 billion to the family members of the 241 U.S. servicemen killed in the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, a federal judge ruled in Washington on Friday, calling it the largest-ever such judgment against another country.
Iran has been blamed for supporting the militant group Hezbollah, which carried out the suicide bombing in Beirut. It was the worst terrorist act against U.S. targets until the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
Hundreds of people crowded a federal courtroom to hear Friday's ruling. "These individuals, whose hearts and souls were forever broken, waited patiently for nearly a quarter century for justice to be done," U.S District Judge Royce C. Lamberth said as families embraced.
The crowd, many of them weeping, stood and erupted into applause as Lamberth left the bench. The ruling allows nearly 1,000 family members and estates to try to collect Iranian assets from various sources around the world.

"Undercover in Little Morocco" is the name of a book written by the young Flemish journalist Hind Fraihi. She spent two months researching undercover among radical Muslims in Brussels. Her shocking findings included the revelation that younger Muslims in particular are increasingly prone to violence, and not just in the cities.
Old news. And yet, Europe and the US continues its open door policies with regard to Muslims.
We in the West are always told that overpopulation is a bad thing. But without blinking an eye, they also say that the fact that western countries have stable or slightly falling population patterns, it's also a bad thing and immigrant populations are required to sustain a certain standard of living. How can this be?
Why is it such a bad thing for the population of a country to stabilise or fall back? Was Great Britain so badly off when its population was 50,000,000, that it just had to 60,000,000. The truth is, it's the Third World that's ever expanding it's population, making a bet it can't afford, on the backs of Western money. Does anyone ever condemn them for this, no, because they're ethnic, and therefore above all criticism.
The fact is, without the ludicrous cultural and racial theories of the Left (and Right now), the population would have stayed stable, or even fallen, big deal, things would have gone on pretty much as before.
If there were jobs no one wanted to do, pay more for people to do those jobs, increase taxes to subsidize them. Instituting increased taxes to subsidize the illiterate hapless (and now radicalized) of the world is no substitute for sane stability.
