ANOTHER TROUBLING OBAMA APPOINTEE

IT'S SPRINGTIME IN THE HUB of global politics. Besides the birds and the bees, the swine flu, and the pollen, we can now add possible espionage to our spring watchlist.

Obama's recent appointment of Dalia Mogahed to his Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships is not just another low level appointment. Mogahed is a self described expert on studying the way Muslim's think. The left-wing media has insisted in article after article that she is a Muslim moderate.

The American Daily Review questions these descriptions of Mogahed, after research has linked Mogahed with a group called the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project which advocates engaging the very troublesome and radical Muslim Brotherhood, a group whose stated purpose is to destroy the west.

The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928, is currently outlawed as a political party yet nevertheless holds a fifth of the seats in Egypt's lower house of Parliament, sees its mission as, “a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

When combined with these facts with the notion that her appointment has apparently brought hope and joy to Egyptians, there is certainly cause for alarm. She was also involved in a polling project that deliberately sought to sanitize the image of Muslims by distorting the facts of her survey. Perhaps you remember a Gallup survey that supposedly showed that Muslims supposedly have the same attitudes as the rest of America? This survey, conducted by Mogahed, declared that only 7% of Muslims are radical (only 7%!) while the same survey concluded that 36% of Muslims approved the attack on the World Trade Center.

Mogahed and a notorious colleague were exposed by Robert Satloff writing for the Weekly Standard. The respected Mr. Satloff takes a detailed look at the faulty conclusions Mogahed presented to the world, conclusions that are not support by the data she presents.

Satloff's article is informative reading. When it was published in 2008 the article caused quite a stir. In other words, the Obama White House knew about this controversy before they appointed Mogahed to her new post. One wonders why they would chose a Muslim with a checkered record rather than someone without controversy.

Clearly, this appointment shows that Obama’s appeasement to this nation’s enemies continues, unabated. This appointment also seems to fit in with a long record of appointments Obama has made of people with radical, anti-American ties.

ANTI-DHIMMITUDE IN BRUSSELS

IT'S A PLEASANT SURPRISE to see someone with old-fashioned common sense who has not yet been lobotomized at the altar of political (in)correctness, but instead is publically unwilling to make nice with the parasitic Islamic agenda now swamping the planet. The Jerusalem Post has reported that the Orthodox rabbinic organization in Europe (CER) has boycotted the annual interfaith conference in Brussels in protest against the in clusion of several groups financed by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Perhaps the "sleeping civilization" is slowly awakening to the mountain of evidence that proves without a shred of doubt that the global jihad which has its roots tied to the Muslim Brotherhood from its very inception is being perpetrated by Islamic jihadists all across the globe, and the threat to Western civilization is very real, unavoidable, and is not simply going to evaporate without a concentrated confrontation.

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928 by Hasan al-Banna, a 22-year-old elementary school teacher, as an Islamic revivalist movement following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the subsequent ban of the caliphate system of government that had united the Muslims for hundreds of years. Al-Banna based his ideas that Islam was not only a religious observance, but a comprehensive way of life, on the tenets of Wahhabism, better known today as "Islamism", and he supplemented the traditional Islamic education for the Society's male students with jihadi training.

Although officially banned, but apparently not vanquished, by the Egyptian government since 1954, the Muslim Brothers captured 17 seats in the Egyptian Parliament running as independents; they also hold important offices in professional organizations in Egypt.

Today, a very complex financial network connects the operations of over seventy branches of the Muslim Brothers worldwide. During the Muslim Brothers' seventy-plus years of existence, there have been cycles of growth, followed by divisions into factions, including clandestine financial networks, and violent jihad groups, such as al-Jihad and al-Gama'at al-Islamiyya in Egypt, HAMAS in Palestine and mujahideen groups in Afghanistan.

A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after the Iranian revolution, in 1982. The plan was summarized in a 1991 memorandum written by Mohamed Akram, an operative of the Muslim Brotherhood. “The process of settlement” of Muslims in America, Akram explained, “is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process.’” This means that members of the Brotherhood “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

The boycott, of course, drew typical dawah criticism from Muslim leaders and the European Union hosts of the annual gathering. According to European Muslim Network leader Tariq Ramadan, "Anything which has to do with targeting people for their religion is unacceptable."

Typical Muslim-speak by Brother Tariq touting his glorious perspective yet again. Yet, we also know that when a Muslim anointed one speaks of religious protection, he only means "protection for Islam" because to him, only Islam exists. All other faiths are false, therefore are not true religion. Ah, the cleverness of it all. Islam is so clever, don't you think...

However, many of us in the West and in the East, non-Muslims and former Muslims alike, do observe Islam clearly and plainly without obfuscation. We also hear and see and record the atrocities Islamic converts (rejecting your preferred term "reverts") commit in Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bosnia, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Turkey, and Egypt among many others including much of Europe without so much as a stern rejection of the religious desecration, persecutions, abductions, murders and rapes of the culture and peoples who call themselves Christians, Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists, atrocities occurring daily with the full force of the Qu'ran and mosque-inspired jihad behind them...

Thank you rabbis, for standing up against this conspiracy...

RULES OF PROPAGANDA

If the ridiculous becomes the norm, and this continued appeasement of Islamic conspirators continues to find grounding in the West, just remember the Nazi ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Just remember that Adolph Hitler's Mein Kampf which means "my struggle" in German is eerily matched to what the word "Islam" (struggle) means in Arabic. Furthermore, it is the current and has been the longstanding top selling book in the Middle East. Just remember that political bent of the Socialist Left and this NWO contingent requires a "dirty hands" ally for optimum transgression, and has found its convenient ally in Islamofascism. Just remember the multicultural experiment contains its own recipe for failure, as does democracy as noted in the aphorism: Neither democracy, nor the US Constitution is a suicide pact. Just remember why all this feels so vaguely familiar.

One of the more insidious forms of propaganda, however, is that situation where the true sources of information are hidden (or ignored) from the recipients and propagators alike. This stripe of so-called "covertly directed propaganda" conspires to mobilize a network of unsuspecting "agents of influence" who pass on the messages as if they were acting spontaneously, by feigning a coincidence of views with those of the target society it seeks to subvert.

By pandering to the proclivities of key individuals, it can procure by stealth clandestine means a dominant élite of opinion makers from which the operations can then prosper.

America, stand guard! The enemy is already among us. It entered into our nation, our cities, and our graces through the unchecked Trojan Horse of political correctness, runaway multiculturalism, as lofty as these ideals may seem to the hopelessly romantic, but when combined with the iron sword of petrodollar blackmail, it is a disaster waiting to happen.. This is not a drill. This is the real thing, and this cold war struggle will inevitably give way to the hot war for survival of our very souls. It is my opinion that this war will not long continue as the mere police action it is today, but as our enemies continue to whittle away at the basic way of liberty that is the American birthright, we will be forced to defend ourselves by any means necessary.

But we are either still asleep at the wheel blinded by our own lethargy brought on by greed and irrational philosophies and behaviors, or else we have already in the full light of day chosen to our path, having sold our birthright for a gallon of gasoline, for a bowl of porridge, and the delightful sound phrases of false ideology, and as a consequence, we will required by nature to pay the price for our duplicitous behavior. Let us pray this terrible reckoning of the fevers which ail us never arrives. Let us pray we can turn back the tide of aggression facing us. We us pray, educate, and prepare ourselves and our families of this threat to our civil liberties and to life itself. The alternative won't be pretty.

Because here's what we face: politicians, businessmen, bureaucrats, pharmacists, police commander, TV journalist. These people of rank and stature were among Moroccan jihadists rounded up this week.

This simple fact leaves the liberal media (and there's no shortage of so-called right wing media, also) scratching its venerable collective head in puzzlement. I mean, doesn't everybody know that poverty causes terrorism, and only the desperate, uneducated and easily led join jihadist groups?

Of course, many have documented here for years that the opposite is the case, and just yesterday Saudi pseudoacademic shill John Esposito admitted it publically: "The radicals are better educated, have better jobs, and are more hopeful with regard to the future than mainstream Muslims."

Alas, this simple realization never seems to get through to the clueless, indifferent, PC-addled mainstream media.

In this week's Moroccan round-up, police conducted nationwide raids, the biggest crackdown in Morocco since suicide bombings killed 45 people, including the 12 bombers, in Casablanca five years ago. The alleged leader of the group was a well-off Moroccan immigrant in Belgium who is accused of financing his activity with multimillion-dollar hold-ups and committing assassinations in that European country dating back 20 years. Moroccan Interior Minister Chakib Benmoussa said in an interview that the group plotted to assassinate Cabinet ministers, military chiefs and Jewish leaders to destabilize this moderate Muslim nation.

"The leaders of this network had the opportunity to train in Afghanistan, to meet leaders of Al Qaeda, and to go to Algeria to train in [rural outposts] in 2005," Benmoussa said.

Some aspects of the case against the suspects perplex analysts. The three politicians arrested belong to small parties that mix Islamist and leftist ideologies. Their defenders say they are moderates. Their longtime ties to Shiite Muslim movements, including Hezbollah, may have been a factor in their arrests. Sunni Muslims are the majority here, but authorities worry about the danger of extremism among the small Shiite minority and sympathetic Sunni radicals.

Sunni and Western governments fear that the recent assassination of a Hezbollah military chief in Syria could foment Shiite-inspired violence around the world, says Abdellah Rami, an expert on Islam at the Moroccan Center for Social Studies. But Rami sees contradictions in the official version alleging that the Moroccan group of suspects was influenced by both Sunni-led Al Qaeda and Shiite Hezbollah.

We must face the inevitable. We have a lot of work ahead of us in securing our nation from the threats within and without its national borders. Wanna bet how many on the Left and the NWO Right will laugh at you for your passe "nationalist" concerns...

THE ART OF WAR, MUSLIM-STYLE

As if all the recent spate of unfalsified news now trickling out of Kosovo-Serbia about who the "true" victions of that conflict are (hint: it wasn't the American-backed Muslims of Kosovo) isn't shocking enough, let's reach deeper into this vat of deception and deceit that is rendered to us as an awkward alliance between the western Left and historical Islam.

Future historians studying the decline and fall of the American Empire will probably focus on George W. Bush's disastrous Iraqi adventure—the modern-day equivalent of Alcibiades' Sicilian expedition—to explain the pathology of a global hyper-power. However, while Iraq has been, beyond any doubt, a significant factor in depleting Imperial power, it is arguably not the conflict that destroyed the Empire's authority. Since it is the authority that marks the difference between the State and a gang of street thugs (i.e. the perception of legitimacy in the use of force by the populace against which it is being used), its loss is much harder for an Empire to recover from.

Before there was Iraq, there was Kosovo—another "war of choice," another war of aggression against all international law, national constitutions and alliance charters, waged to show the world that the United States and its NATO military arm asserted the right to attack anyone, anywhere, for whatever reason. It was packaged and sold as a "humanitarian" war, waged to "prevent genocide" and "stop ethnic cleansing." There was nothing humanitarian about targeting civilian infrastructure. There was no genocide. And the ethnic cleansing that ended up taking place was the expulsion of Serbs, Jews and Roma from the "liberated" province—much as the Jews, Christians, and others who ended up in the "wrong" areas became refugees from "liberated" Iraq.

For those who believe what the Muslims believe themselves, that the Qur'an has never changed and Muslims obey the commandements of Allah and the practices of Muhammed the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, here's a little wake-up call for what's coming down the pike when these masters of deception (religion of peace, et cetera) finally reach their magical (Qur'an dictated) number or critical mass where they feel all-out war on the infidels is mandated by their God.

They may start slowly, but once their blood thirst reaches it's heights, those heads will roll...

The Skull Tower (Serbian: Ćele Kula) is a monument to 19th century Serbian rebels. It is situated in Niš, on Zoran Đinđić Boulevard, on the old Constantinople road leading to Sofia.

On May 31, 1809 on Čegar Hill a few kilometers northeast of Niš, Serbian insurrectionists suffered their greatest defeat in the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire (1804-1813). The insurrectionists' advance towards Niš was stopped here and, when the far stronger Turkish forces attacked, the battle was ended by the Serbian commander Stevan Sinđelić, who sacrificially fired at his gunpowder depot in order to avoid surrendering to the Turks, killing himself, the rest of his men, and the advancing Turks.
After the retreat of the Serbian rebel army, the Turkish commander of Niš, Hurshid Pasha, ordered that the heads of the killed Serbians were to be mounted on a tower to serve as a warning to any other would-be revolutionaries. In all, 952 skulls were included, with the skull of Sindjelić placed at the top. The scalps from the skulls were stuffed with cotton and sent to Constantinople (modern Istanbul) as proof for Sultan Mahmud II.

The tower stood in the open air until the liberation of Niš in 1878. By that time, much of the tower had deteriorated from weather conditions or from the removal of skulls for burial by relatives of killed rebels. In 1892, with donations gathered from all over Serbia, a graceful chapel designed by the Belgrade architect Dimitrije T. Leko was built to enclose what was left of the tower. Today, only 58 skulls remain, including Sindjelić's one.

In front of the chapel stands the monument to Sinđelić, and a small relief depicting the battle, both from 1937. The monument commemorating the battle in the form of a guard tower was built in 1927 on Čegar Hill by Julian Djupon. The lower part is made out of stone from the Niš fortress.

If this warning gto all and sunder be fearmongering, so be it. Contemporary culture only seems to want to complain about who knew what and when AFTER the fact, while sunning themselves and gorging on fluff, self-satisfied and petulent in the lead up to the very worst fears of their lives. But the signs are everywhere that something really bad in terms of war and mayhem is on its way. Now that we've all had a taste of rainy day women, don't say you weren't warned.

Remember, it's not the pious moderate Muslim you need to be concerned about. It's the pious moderate Muslim who changes his approach in a twinkling of a cobra's eye that should concern you.

Of course, if one has a preconceived notion that Muslims are not the offending party, but the oppressed people in question in each of these war zones (what about Muslim on Muslim raids), and will not let go of that notion no matter how many persuading facts and relevant perspectives are delivered, well, there's some old line about a horse and water I must avail myself.

Language stands in our way here. Although this article hits much closer to the mark, there is still an impediment to identifying the true nature of the enemy in that it is slighly misidentified. The word "terrorist" is very abused these days, and one envisions here a group that willy-nilly tosses money and resources, or agitates in favour of, groups that bomb teenagers in coffee shops and commuters on trains or fly planes into buildings.

It is this stereotype that will lead such articles to ridicule. For, although the Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) has in the past been directly involved in such activity and now is more covertly involved in supporting groups like Hamas, they can legitimately claim not to support or validate attacks in the West (or, at least they can argue that this is an unfair characterization of their work and goals).

It is important that we describe clearly and precisely what these folks are up to. They would be quite happy, if possible, to set up a Caliphate in the U.S. and eliminate the constitution, without shedding a drop of blood. To simply characterize them as "terrorist" or "pro-terrorist" is facile and at best only close to the mark.

The Ikhwan are radical, vehement islamists bend on world domination. That this puts them in bed with some terrorist groups is true, but they are careful about with whom they associate. You can pin them down on Hamas, but they will argue that this is a legitimate government group or "freedom fighters".

But you will not successfully associate them with ... say, Al Qaeda. Read the Ikhwan literature: they are quite clear that, although they share many common objectives with Osama's army, they condemn them outright as unislamic and an illegal breakaway group. If pushed the right way they may even say that Osama is Takfir.

They have no qualms about condemning jihadist groups, and their actions, if they are not affiliated with those groups. So, to come out guns-blazing and saying the Ikhwan is out and out terrorist, or even pro-terrorist, is to play into their hands. They can, and will try to, bring ridicule to such claims. Watch how they handle these proceedings, particularly when it comes to anyone who oversimplifies by calling them terrorists instead of focussing on their agenda and subversive activities.

THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD PROJECT

One might be led to think that if international law enforcement authorities and Western intelligence agencies had discovered a twenty-year old document revealing a top-secret plan developed by the oldest Islamist organization with one of the most extensive terror networks in the world to launch a program of "cultural invasion" and eventual conquest of the West that virtually mirrors the tactics used by Islamists for more than two decades, that such news would scream from headlines published on the front pages and above the fold of the New York Times, Washington Post, London Times, Le Monde, Bild, and La Repubblica. If that's what you might think, you would be wrong.

In fact, such a document was recovered in a raid by Swiss authorities in November 2001, two months after the horror of 9/11. Since that time information about this document, known in counterterrorism circles as "The Project," and discussion regarding its content has been limited to the top-secret world of Western intelligence communities. Only through the work of an intrepid Swiss journalist, Sylvain Besson of Le Temps, and his book published in October 2005 in France, La conquete de l'Occident: Le projet secret des Islamistes (The Conquest of the West: The Islamists' Secret Project), has information regarding The Project finally been made public. One Western official cited by Besson has described The Project as "a totalitarian ideology of infiltration which represents, in the end, the greatest danger for European societies."

What Western intelligence authorities know about The Project begins with the raid of a luxurious villa in Campione, Switzerland on November 7, 2001. The target of the raid was Youssef Nada, director of the Al-Taqwa Bank of Lugano, who has had active association with the Muslim Brotherhood for more than 50 years and who admitted to being one of the organization's international leaders. The Muslim Brotherhood, regarded as the oldest and one of the most important Islamist movements in the world, was founded by Hasan al-Banna in 1928 and dedicated to the credo, "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."

The raid was conducted by Swiss law enforcement at the request of the White House in the initial crackdown on terrorist finances in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. US and Swiss investigators had been looking at Al-Taqwa's involvement in money laundering and funding a wide range of Islamic terrorist groups, including Al-Qaeda, HAMAS (the Palestinian affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood), the Algerian GIA, and the Tunisian Ennahdah.

Included in the documents seized during the raid of Nada's Swiss villa was a 14-page plan written in Arabic and dated December 1, 1982, which outlines a 12-point strategy to "establish an Islamic government on earth"—identified as The Project. According to testimony given to Swiss authorities by Nada, the unsigned document was prepared by "Islamic researchers" associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

What makes The Project so different from the standard "Death of America! Death to Israel!" and "Establish the global caliphate!" Islamist rhetoric is that it represents a flexible, multi-phased, long-term approach to the "cultural invasion" of the West. Calling for the utilization of various tactics, ranging from immigration, infiltration, surveillance, propaganda, protest, deception, political legitimacy and terrorism, The Project has served for more than two decades as the Muslim Brotherhood "master plan." As can be seen in a number of examples throughout Europe—including the political recognition of parallel Islamist government organizations in Sweden, the recent "cartoon" jihad in Denmark, the Parisian car-burning intifada last November, and the 7/7 terrorist attacks in London—the plan outlined in The Project has been overwhelmingly successful.

Rather than focusing on terrorism as the sole method of group action, as is the case with Al-Qaeda, in perfect postmodern fashion the use of terror falls into a multiplicity of options available to progressively infiltrate, confront, and eventually establish Islamic domination over the West. The following tactics and techniques are among the many recommendations made in The Project:

* Networking and coordinating actions between likeminded Islamist organizations;

* Avoiding open alliances with known terrorist organizations and individuals to maintain the appearance of "moderation";

* Infiltrating and taking over existing Muslim organizations to realign them towards the Muslim Brotherhood's collective goals;

* Using deception to mask the intended goals of Islamist actions, as long as it doesn't conflict with shari'a law;

* Avoiding social conflicts with Westerners locally, nationally or globally, that might damage the long-term ability to expand the Islamist powerbase in the West or provoke a lash back against Muslims;

* Establishing financial networks to fund the work of conversion of the West, including the support of full-time administrators and workers;

* Conducting surveillance, obtaining data, and establishing collection and data storage capabilities;

* Putting into place a watchdog system for monitoring Western media to warn Muslims of "international plots fomented against them";

* Cultivating an Islamist intellectual community, including the establishment of think-tanks and advocacy groups, and publishing "academic" studies, to legitimize Islamist positions and to chronicle the history of Islamist movements;

* Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world;

* Balancing international objectives with local flexibility;

* Building extensive social networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamist ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant;

* Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions;

* Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam;

* Drafting Islamic constitutions, laws and policies for eventual implementation;

* Avoiding conflict within the Islamist movements on all levels, including the development of processes for conflict resolution;

* Instituting alliances with Western "progressive" organizations that share similar goals;

* Creating autonomous "security forces" to protect Muslims in the West;

* Inflaming violence and keeping Muslims living in the West "in a jihad frame of mind";

* Supporting jihad movements across the Muslim world through preaching, propaganda, personnel, funding, and technical and operational support;

* Making the Palestinian cause a global wedge issue for Muslims;

* Adopting the total liberation of Palestine from Israel and the creation of an Islamic state as a keystone in the plan for global Islamic domination;

* Instigating a constant campaign to incite hatred by Muslims against Jews and rejecting any discussions of conciliation or coexistence with them;

* Actively creating jihad terror cells within Palestine;

* Linking the terrorist activities in Palestine with the global terror movement;

* Collecting sufficient funds to indefinitely perpetuate and support jihad around the world;

In reading The Project, it should be kept in mind that it was drafted in 1982 when current tensions and terrorist activities in the Middle East were still very nascent. In many respects, The Project is extremely prescient for outlining the bulk of Islamist action, whether by "moderate" Islamist organizations or outright terror groups, over the past two decades.
