RUNAWAY LIBERALIZATION POLICIES

I'M WRITING FROM Sweden. Things are looking really bad here. Well, they have been for years actually—I live just outside of Malmö. The incidents that are referred to are all with the involvment of young Muslim males.

Here in the surburbs we have young Muslim males cruising in their vehicles all the time. Burglaries have gone up explosively—my family and I have had 3 burglaries in under 9 months! There have been 3 recorded rapes in this little surburb of 5000 people, a lot of violence against young Swedes and many more incidents. We are actually afraid to go out in the evening. That was not the case just 3-4-5 years ago. People feel unsafe and sometimes I talk to others about moving eventually, maybe Norway or some place else in Sweden.

Some 1-2 months ago I was at the local office in Malmø and a foreigner drew a gun after an argument with a lady. He shortly threatened her with the gun pointing in her face and then ran away. I came just minutes too late and had the whole incident described to me by a shocked witness. For days I waited for the media to write about it, but I have not seen anything yet. I cannot believe that it was not reported, but I am afraid that the journalists are taking the next step. That is, simply not to write about the upcoming crime at all!

I think all the people of southern Sweden have a feeling of that something is totally wrong at the moment. So much crime, so much violence. It has become normal like a colleague said to me.

“We better get used to it, it is just a natural development in our modern society with the liberal values. We have to put faith in the politicians, they know about this!” Inside I get angry at this naive and hopeless position. Why does it have to be this way? Are things in Denmark and other parts of Sweden not normal? The experts say that crime is not rising, that it is the same as it has always been, people just record more. It makes me sick to see these experts week after week, month after month.

But since I am from Malmö I cannot remember having experienced things like these ever:

In Malmö, I saw a man, 35-45, attacked by two young males a year ago and decided that I was going to testify, but the man who was attacked did not want to go to court. He lost some of his teeth and I helped him picking them up.

I have seen 3 car accidents the last 2 years and I find this strange, but each time there were young Muslim males involved in the car crash. One time they went totally nuts and were about to hit a younger lady who was in the other car and without fault with a bottle. And when the ambulance came they were about to fight them and one of them eventually got arrested when the police showed up.

Every now and then shouting and pushing in the streets when the Muslims get into arguments with each other. It’s seems so aggressive and Swedes get threatned when they dare stop and look at the argument.

Last summer some colleagues of mine had rocks thrown after them by some minor youths (10-11-12-13 years old). One of my colleagues told them to “Beat it” and was hit by a rock in the back when he turned around. He had to go to the hospital and could not work for 3 weeks.

My nephew, 19 years old who lives with my brother and his wife in Malmö, has been attacked 3 times in a short period of time. Each time he was jumped by a gang of 5-10 muslim males —sometimes much younger than he is. There are witnesses, but they are too afraid to step forward and to talk to the police and meeting in court. The second time he was beaten up so severely that he had to go to the hospital for a week. The police arrested some of the attackers the second time, but since there were “no” witnesses they could not go further.

My nephew’s younger brother, 14, tells tales of frightened Swedish teenagers who are terrorized by Muslim males in school. Every day some one gets something stolen. They all know who did it, but the teachers shut their eyes and the police won’t do anything about it.

He can tell of classmates getting robbed when they go shopping in Malmö. Some of the Muslim males even bring weapons to school and flash them in the classroom to both impress and schock the other children. The school has been set on fire a few times.

I know that there are many good Muslims out there and that it is only a minority of them who are causing all these problems. But you cannot say anything these days —immediately people get suspicious and ask if you vote for SverigeDemokraterne, which I believe is a racist party with proven Nazi-relations.

Fredrik

There's your problem, Fredrik. You're afraid of what people will think if you vote for anything but a liberal party. Why CAN'T you say anything? Why can't you speak up against crime and intimidation? What liberal values ever extolled crime? Why would people get suspicious about someone who wanted law and order? Why are you afraid to stand up for your own right to exist?

If you want change you need to be willing to change your own voting habits. Instead you're snookered by people who say the opposition is "racist" or "Nazi". Talk about political correctness! The old axiom is as true today as it ever was: people in a democracy get the government they deserve.

That is a sad story, but all too common in the West now days, but you, and other Swedes, don't have to live with it. Embrace the spirit of Charles XII who was reported to have once said, "I have resolved never to start an unjust war but never to end a legitimate one except by defeating my enemies."

If it's choice between a Swedish racist, and a Muslim dominated society, I know which one I'd choose. Besides, anyone who doesn't tow the Liberal multiculturalist line is going to be labeled a racist. If SverigeDemokraterne is calling for a stop to Muslim immigration to Sweden, and the expulsion of those who won't conform to the values and principles of Swedish society, that does not make him a Racist. It makes him a defender of Sweden and the Swedish way of life. Too often people allow themselves to be intimidated and beat down by name-calling politicians.

And it sounds like that's what's happening with Swedes.

Name the problem: Muslims in Malmo are engaging in bullying, threats and ghazi raiding, as per their observed behavior on three continents over 1300 years, in order to intimidate the locals and seize territory. This has to be confronted and stopped while Muslims are still essentially outnumbered.

A RANT FOR REASON, NOT PERFECTION

Sweden, which has welcomed far more Iraqi refugees than has the U.S. or the rest of Europe, announced recently that it is tightening its asylum rules and will forcibly deport Iraqis who are denied refuge. The announcement marked an abrupt change in the relatively lax rules that had made Sweden a safe haven for thousands of Iraqis fleeing the chaos in their homeland. But the move certainly has its detractors.

"Sweden used to be positively unique. Now they've joined the rest of the gang," said Bjarte Vandvik, Secretary-General of the European Council of Refugees and Exiles. The rest of the gang? Oh, how diabolically clever...

We'll revisit the usage of the word "gang" a bit later.

More than 18,000 Iraqis have arrived in Sweden seeking asylum since 2006, the highest number in any European country. The Bush administration announced in February it would allow up to 7,000 Iraqis into the U.S. by the end of September. Fewer than 800 have been allowed in so far. Many of the refugees in Sweden have joined existing Iraqi communities in Sodertalje, south of Stockholm, and the southwestern port city of Malmo. Although they have generally kept a low profile and have been widely welcomed by Swedes, the influx has raised concerns over strains on Sweden's generous social benefit system. The government has repeatedly complained that other European countries aren't doing enough to shoulder the burden.

About 80 percent of asylum applications by Iraqis were approved in Sweden last year, but immigration officials said that number would drop as more stringent rules are enforced. Previously granted asylum based on the general turmoil in their homeland, Iraqis now must show that they face specific threats of violence if they are sent back, Sweden's Migration Board said.

"The consequence will probably be that fewer asylum seekers will be granted asylum in Sweden," said Dan Eliasson, director-general of the Migration Board. The board also said it would start forcibly deporting Iraqis whose asylum applications are rejected, which runs against recommendations by the U.N. refugee agency. "Those who are rejected should return voluntarily," said Deputy Judge Joakim Hugoson, a legal adviser at the Migration Board. "But if he or she doesn't do that the board will hand over those cases to the police for a forcible return."

The move sparked furious protests from refugee rights activists and Iraqi immigrants. Tony Saliba, head of the Syriac Orthodox church in Stockholm, said forcibly returning asylum-seekers to Iraq "is equal to giving them a death penalty."

Lars Gustafsson, a lawmaker for the Christian Democrats—one of four parties in the center-right government—called for changing existing laws to stop the immigration authorities from adopting the stricter asylum rules.

The Swedish Migration Board said it was compelled to adopt the tighter rules after reviewing rulings this year by the country's highest immigration court. Those dealt with cases that had already been rejected by the board, but officials said they offered new guidelines that would affect many of the 10,000 cases currently awaiting decisions.

The court's "interpretation of the migration law, which guides us, means that the general situation (in Iraq) does not automatically lead to asylum, but the applicant must cite individual reasons," Eliasson said. Iraqi refugees in Europe are a fraction of the nearly 4 million people displaced since the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Half of those remain inside Iraq, having fled their homes and possessions to avoid suicide bombings, death squads, abductions and other violence. The other 2 million have found refuge in neighboring countries, mainly in Syria and Jordan, making Iraqis the largest group of asylum seekers worldwide.

Had enough of stories like this? Where are you in this picture? How deep is your compassion as you cry out with these Iraqis, who you do not know. "How long, how long?" How rich is your heart, how foolish your future?

"It's a bit late for Sweden. Malmo, their second largest city, is soon going to be Muslim majority. I find it amazing that in just a single generation, Sweden, a nation at peace with itself, now suffers the incidence of rapes higher than New York City," says one Swede, a long-time liberal to his lily-white core. And yes, these statistics reveal overwhelmingly attacks by "gangs" of Muslim men on teenage Swedish girls, who are villified as whores and worse by these pseudo-religious thugs. Th edonly thing is, these thugs are executing their religion with great diligence of purpose.

Perhaps, my friends on the Left, this is what happens when Liberalism has become the abiding norm of society in a world where not everyone else measures up to such high ideals in the absolute starkness of reality on the ground, and in fact could not loathe or disagree with you and your own feel-good way of life more. Que sera sera...

The hard liberal posture seems to be that they the enlightened ones are concerned more with their own feelings of being good, as if feeling good is the moral equivalent of actually being good (again, when weighed not against the fantasies of idealism but weighed instead against the grounding of realism), than the continued welfare of the imperfect nation in which they themselves thrive. If not thriving, they then feel cheated, as if the grass or gravitas could indeed possibly be greener or greater elsewhere on the planet (and a free ticket to ride) for this more disgruntled bunch.

Then when things get rough, and society and the nation are eviscerated and eventually destroyed by the truly barbarous instead of the mere whiskers of the opposition party, of course it is the fault of the other people, as they themselves, the liberals, had only the purest intentions at heart. Too bad, too late. Fiddle, and the damage done. Strange thing about history. It neither occurs in a vaccuum, or all at once. History happens one day at a time.

This article is not about Sweden's immigration problem. This rant is about America the promise, as she pertains to the ENTIRE WEST, IF NOT THE WHOLE PLANET. What do we see when we truly look at the details? You do remember how important one's attention to details is to any outcome we might imagine, do you not? The time is now for you to ask yourselves what common monopoly of the future is to remain a blessing if certain values are swept under the rug despite evidence of provision to the greater good, and others are not stopped at the gate despite evidence of danger to the whole of mankind.

Yep. The answer is in them dag nasty details, ain't it?

This is no time to cry.

A BRIT LAMENTS

Ah, just remembered, the Channel 4 thing is about the Far Lefts unholy alliance with Islam.

Monday night, in the UK, if you're in America you get hundreds of channels of crap instead. Could be interesting, Channel 4 is generally Left leaning and liberal, but for some reason, seems to recognise that there's something in Islam to be feared. Or at least recognises that the debate is open.

They've run programs on the man-made climate change myth as well. Something else the BBC should be doing. I hang my head in shame at what the BBC has become. Even when their pro-Islamic journalists are kidnapped by Islamists, they can't stop their misinformation campaign. They've become a national disgrace.

SOME ON THE LEFT AWAKEN

Previously, admiring myself as a left wing, tolerant liberal, into Buddhism and yoga and all things "peace and love", I thought that America and Britain were causing a lot of the extremism with its violence towards others. I marched against the war, and thought Bush was a tw*t and Blair a liar.

Then, I met a girl from a (non-practising) moderate Muslim family. I decided to do a bit of research into Islam, I thought it would be helpful and open-minded of me.

Well, the more I learnt about Islam, the more I was felt sick and disgusted. There is a strong vein of intolerance running through this mythos, a clinging to the belief that every word in the Koran is correct and that none of it has been corrupted or is wrong, and certainly not to be questioned. Moderate Muslims, either through fear or ignorance, will trot out the line of "Islam is peaceful" while failing to scrutinize a dogma that helps violent people justify their violence. Islam needs reformation, and the moderates need to be the ones who start it.

So, now I am of the same mind as the writer (Hassan Butt), but having come from two different directions. I still think that "our" part in violence will only bring violence, just as if I hit someone they are likely to hit me back. But if they follow a system that countenances violence—and the system's rules against it are slack (and they are)—then it's even more likely they'll hit me, perhaps even if I don't hit them.

Let's move to end the violence, from ALL factions. I still think Bush is a tw*t and Blair is a liar, only now I know that Islam isn't really about peace and love, it's about superiority and intolerance. The whingeing about victimization is nothing but a lament for lack of power to impose this will to superiority.

A powerful, astute piece and I applaud the writer's courage.

Just sign me,

Yogaboy

THE CONTINUING FOLLY OF MORAL EQUIVALENCY

Why is it that when the hatred and intolerance that are the very essence of Islamic theology are exposed and discussed, those who participate are labeled "haters"? This is an illogical method of reasoning, resting on the foundation that should everyone just ignore the hate that oozes from Muslims and Islam, that generalized goodwill will mitigate the Islamic intensity and make it disappear.

Do people actually reside in the West who believe that hate and evil can be eradicated with kindness and love? Other than in the words of Jesus Christ I have never heard such idealism ushered into a play for reality, but now the Far Left in the West, of course, quite sturdy in their opinions without need of any religion, now spoofs us, and taunts us into believing the unreliable. The real world is not and will never be the multicultural utopia of these social deconstructionists' dreams, and Muslims want no part of such a world. They want a monocultural world, an Islamic world, a hardcore totalitarian structure which they would impose on all of us tomorrow if only they had the corporeal power to do it. Even CAIR has acknowledged this dream.

Islam creates and sustains the most insidious, inexorable, intractable hatred imaginable, an evil that most people of the contemporary Western mindset cannot imagine, much less comprehend. To acknowledge this takes a certain amount of courage because it means that conflict and self-defense are inevitable. Self-preservation requires constant diligence and close scrutiny of Muslims, most of whom are our enemies. If self-preservation and self-defense are now considered immoral, yes, we're guilty, but then so are the Muslims who fight tooth, nail, and children with bombs to preserve and extend their own dark sensibilities.

In addition to the remarkable congruence between Islam and many of the more extreme kinds of 'cult' groupthink, between Islam and organized crime 'families' (e.g. the Chinese Triads, or the Mafia) there are many clear symptoms of deep-rooted sociopathy—Mohammed's own sociopathy, perhaps, apoptheosized by religious decree as the perfect man and the perfect model for man. And woman, well, that requires a whole other set of inhumane formulas, and Islam does not flinch from the task.

For the benefit of those who don't have time to trawl the archives, let's draw attention to M. Scott Peck's chilling book 'People of the Lie' (1988). He is talking about evil people generally, but much of his analysis is directly relevant to our present encounter with Islam, the jihadists and their spin-masters. It also accounts remarkably well for the documented characteristics of all Islamised societies and their relationships with their unfortunate non-Muslim minorities and non-Muslim neighbours.

Among other things Peck stresses the pathological narcissism of truly evil people—they persistently reject both self-knowledge and external criticism. He notes: "evil people, refusing to accept their own failures, actually desire to project their evil onto others".

Page 82: "A predominant characteristic of the behaviour of those I call evil is scapegoating. BECAUSE IN THEIR HEARTS THEY CONSIDER THEMSELVES ABOVE REPROACH, THEY MUST LASH OUT AT ANYONE WHO DOES REPROACH THEM. THEY SACRIFICE OTHERS TO PRESERVE THEIR SELF-IMAGE OF PERFECTION".

Reminded of anything, folks? Pope rage, cartoon rage, apostasy and other draconian blasphemy laws? Peck stresses that the truly evil personality also 'creates confusion' because it lies consistantly to itself and others—hence the title of his book, People of the Lie.

A key observation: "I have learned nothing in 20 years that would suggest that evil people can be rapidly influenced by any means other than raw power. They do not respond, at least in the short run, to either gentle kindness or any form of spiritual persuasion with which I am familiar."

The susceptibility of the average person to ideas of moral equivalence is truly a sign of intellectual decadence. The conditions under which one could truly say two antagonists are morally equivalent seem to me to be much more rare than the opposite conditions, under which one of the antagonists would have to be considered the morally superior.

Compare moral standing to the system of accounting and ask yourself how frequently it happens that two distinct businesses have the same exact debits and credits in their accounting statements? Pretty rarely. Well, that's how frequently true moral equivalence can be asserted between two antagonists.

The intellectual decadence consists of asserting that the "exception" (true moral equivalence) is the "rule".

NO EXCUSE FOR IGNORANCE

For those of you who fear Christians and or Jews, more than you do Muslims, I implore you to read this article by Daniel Pipes. You know who you are. My fine liberal American friends. Wake up, little sleepy heads. Put aside the distant past for a moment. Let's start understanding what's happening in your own lifetimes.
